Best mobile screen guard protection in Kerala
What "best" actually means for mobile screen guard protection, how custom-cut TPU film compares with tempered glass, and what it costs in Kerala.
Last updated · 3 November 2026
The best mobile screen guard protection in Kerala is a custom-cut 450-micron TPU film fitted to the device rather than a pre-packed tempered glass. Trevix365 cuts the film to the exact device profile on site, installs it bubble-free in under ten minutes, and backs it with two free film replacements plus a 12-month display damage warranty, from ₹1,999.
What makes a screen guard the best one
Exact fit, edge to edge
A screen guard only protects what it covers. Film cut to your device profile reaches the curves, buttons and camera cut-outs; a pre-packed glass covers the flat middle and leaves the edges exposed.
Impact absorption, not just scratch resistance
450-micron (0.45 mm) TPU absorbs and spreads impact energy instead of passing it straight to the glass. Thin PET film stops keys and grit, not a drop.
Curved-screen compatibility
Flexible TPU follows a curved edge. Rigid tempered glass cannot, which is why it lifts at the corners on most flagship phones.
Installation quality
Dust under the film or trapped air ruins an otherwise good protector. Installation by trained staff, with the screen cleaned first, is part of the product.
What happens after it fails
Every protector eventually wears. Two free film replacements in the plan year, and a warranty on the display itself, are worth more than a lower sticker price.
Transparent pricing
A fixed price for a fixed plan, inclusive of GST, with the warranty fee stated up front instead of discovered at claim time.
Custom-cut TPU vs tempered glass vs PET film
| Criteria | Trevix365 450µ TPU | Tempered glass | Generic PET film |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fit | Cut to the exact device profile on site | Fixed sizes; edge gaps on curved phones | Universal sheets, hand-trimmed or none |
| Curved screens | Conforms to the curve | Lifts at the corners | Conforms but bubbles easily |
| Impact absorption | Absorbs and spreads impact | Cracks itself, absorbing the drop | Minimal |
| Scratch resistance | High | High | Low |
| Display damage warranty | 12 months on qualifying plans | Rarely offered | None |
| Film replacements | 2 free, then ₹399 | Buy another piece | Buy another sheet |
| Professional installation | Included, bubble-free | Often self-installed | Self-installed |
| Price in Kerala | ₹1,999 – ₹3,999 | ₹300 – ₹1,500 | ₹150 – ₹500 |
Tempered glass is a fair choice if you prefer a firm surface feel and replace it yourself. Custom-cut film wins on coverage, curved screens and what happens after damage.

Screen guard questions, answered
- What is the best screen guard protection available in Kerala?
- A custom-cut 450-micron TPU film installed on site. It covers the device edge to edge, conforms to curved displays, absorbs impact rather than cracking, and can be paired with a 12-month display damage warranty. Trevix365 provides this from ₹1,999 at tecQ stores in Marine Drive, Edappally and Angamaly.
- Is a custom-cut screen guard better than tempered glass?
- For coverage and curved screens, yes. Tempered glass has a firmer surface feel but comes in fixed sizes, can lift at the edges of curved phones, and shatters when it fails. Custom-cut TPU conforms to the display and does not shatter.
- How much does mobile screen guard protection cost in Kochi?
- Trevix365 plans are ₹1,999 for front and back film with two free replacements, ₹2,999 for front protection with the display warranty, and ₹3,999 for full-body cover with frame and camera glass and the display warranty. Prices are inclusive of GST and run 365 days from installation.
- Does the screen guard come with a warranty?
- Plans marked "With warranty" include a 12-month display damage warranty with up to two claims in the plan year. A flat ₹2,500 service fee applies to each claim, and the cost of an authorised display replacement is shared 60% Trevix365 / 40% you.
- Will a screen guard affect touch sensitivity or fingerprint sensors?
- No. The film is optically clear and thin enough that touch response, in-display fingerprint sensors and display brightness work normally once it has bonded.
- Can I get a screen guard fitted at home?
- Yes. On-site visits are available and free of charge within Ernakulam. Book by calling or WhatsApp on +91 81699 05555.
- What happens if the screen guard gets scratched?
- Every plan includes two free replacements of the front and back film within the 365-day term. After that each replacement costs a flat ₹399. The film must still be fitted on the device for a replacement to be processed.
- Which devices can Trevix365 protect?
- Any smartphone, plus many tablets and smartwatches. The film is cut on demand from a library of over 25,000 device profiles, so the model does not need to be in stock.
